The Hightower Advertising Agency has begun the process of upgrading their primary business application. To carry out this company-wide software upgrade, Hightower is partnering with The Moyer Group, the premier solutions consultant for the software upon which the application is based.
Through this program, dubbed “Opus,” Hightower plans, updates and manages its advertising accounts. The system rewrite will result in an exclusive, customized version of the program that better meets the needs of the agency and its clients.
Once the upgrade takes place, the application will be far more web-enabled than it is now, significantly reducing the time it takes to process ads while increasing the accuracy of each ad plan’s estimate. In addition, enhancing the program’s web capabilities will allow for more real-time interaction between Hightower and its clients and media representatives.
Also, because the new software will accelerate the ad planning process, it will give Hightower the time to produce a larger volume of ad plans. “One of our biggest strengths is the enormous volume of ads we handle on a weekly basis,” says Eddie Hightower, president and CEO. “Already, we’re an industry leader in that respect, and our new software will allow us to extend our lead even more by enabling us to further increase our weekly ad volume.”
Hightower expects the upgrade to be complete by 2007. "At this point, we want our clients to know a cutting-edge software innovation is in the works which will take their service to a whole new level,” says Hightower.
