Madison, Miss. — The Hightower Advertising Agency was
among the winners of the 2006 Davey Awards announced November
9, 2006 by the International Academy of the Visual Arts. With
over 3,500 entries from across the US and around the world,
the Davey Awards honors the finest creative work from the
best small firms, agencies and companies worldwide.
Hightower’s two gold awards were both entered in the
Print and Collateral division: a trifold for WSE Transportation,
LLC, designed by art director Jill Burch, and a brochure for
Swift Transportation Co. Inc., designed by senior graphic
designer Martin Bozone.
The Davey Awards is judged and overseen by the International
Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), a 200+ member organization
of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual
arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature
of traditional and interactive media. Current IAVA membership
represents a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, advertising,
and marketing firms including: Yahoo!, Estee Lauder, Wired,
Insight Interactive, Brandweek, Polo Ralph Lauren, ADWEEK,
MTV, Myspace.com, and many others.
